PROTECT THE BEAUTY OF SKIN BY PROTECTING SKN LIFE

The living cells of skin must be protected
The skin is made up of living cells that renew themselves from the basal layer every four weeks. Each living cell contains a basic element necessary for life: DNA. The latter is made up of a nucleic acids chain found within the nucleus of each cell. It contains the genetic information necessary to the good functioning of a cell’s life.
That is why protecting the nucleus of cells is vital in order to maintain a beautiful and smooth skin that is wrinkle- and pigmentary moles-free for a long time.
All skin types may be harmed by the sun
Even if your skin tans easily, UV rays are harmful. During the first few days in the sun, your skin does not have the time necessary to develop its natural defense known as Melanin. UV rays can therefore reach the nucleus of living cells and alter the DNA. The following days, even if you are tanned, remember that UVA and UVB rays can still reach elastic fibers and cause premature ageing.
If you have fair, thin and sensitive skin, the rays that are good for you and that light up your complexion can also harm your skin, causing low sun tolerance, redness and even allergies to the sun.
Filters are not a sufficient protection
Even if UV filters ensure good skin protection, it is not always complete. Sun ray filters only act on certain wavelengths of the UV spectrum.
Therefore, they let harmful rays pass through, reaching cells and altering their nucleus’ DNA.
Therefore, Guinot has added reflecting pigments to its sun care protection system that act on all UV wavelengths.

NUCLEIC DEFENSE
DNA intensifies cellular protection
Guinot has intensified its sun care protection system with DNA, that when applied to skin surface absorbs harmful UV rays instead of the DNA found in cell nuclei. Therefore, the heart of cells is intact and the beauty of skin protected.
Exceptional results on skin’s life
All scientific tests have proven that the UVA/UVB protection system strengthened in DNA allows the skin’s cellular life to increase. This discovery has been approved by researchers at the Boston University in a study published in 2004.
